my roommate said he thinks about killing me and others… what is the best route here (besides moving out, obviously), should i call a non-emergency number and report it? (he DOES own guns, including an AR15) what should i do to prevent potential injury??
Call in welfare check and see if he can be admitted on a 5150. Locate gun or bullets and move their location

Definitely a wellness check which could lead to a psychiatric hold. Does he have a history of mental illness?

Move out or knock him out and send him to a place to help him 💉💤

There is no such thing as thought crime. Yet.

ok but that is a threat, you can report threats. i would log it in any way you can. do a welfare check. eventually if these incidents keep happening and you have logged it, you can make a full report

very surprisingly (and gratefully) i actually moved out last Friday without telling him before tons of help showed up to get me out safely! i was out in 2.5 hours flat! i’m safe now, but he has tried to overdose in an attempt to get me to feel pity and come back 😕

I think about what it would be like to be a dinosaur. That doesn’t mean I’m trying to be.
