I think it’s an attention tactic, not a sympathy tactic like everyone assumes. Bc there’s so much controversy around the bow, the jury is going to listen and pay attention any time she speaks bc “wtf is the bow saying now”. Trials are boring, juries get bored and stop listening and drift off. They’ll miss important details bc they’re daydreaming. Which it is a lawyers job to get the jury to listen to you, so I get it

that’s def a good theory. i just feel like it’s super unprofessional and to be honest… bc everyone hates women i feel like they will look at it as childish and it will undermine even the 1 or 2 good points the prosecution has had. buuuut ive heard there are more women on the jury than men so maybe not, but hell even i think it’s immature and tacky and takes away from the point of this being a literal murder trial.
