Thank you for posting this. I have felt very upset and frustrated by this perceived "doom-loop" the author speaks of, and it's at the very least comforting to read someone else acknowledging it without just straight up being mean to at least one group of people

yes this article isnt perfect etc etc but it addresses this specific issue in a very understandable and direct way.

There are valid points in that article but it literally has nothing to do with me saying that trans women were socialized in similar ways as other males. It’s not repeating a bigoted trope, and I’m not weaponizing it against trans people, I’m literally just pointing out that if you are perceived as male then that affects other perception of you, the privilege you have, etc. That’s literally all I’m saying and only one person has used an effective argument against that.
