Want to start HRT but worried I’ll regret not freezing my sperm in case I want future kids. My family would not be supportive so I do not have the finances to freeze right now but my dysphoria is very bad. Any advice?

I was in your situation a few years ago and chose not to freeze. Now I'm questioning whether, a few more years from now, it might be worth getting off of E for 3-6 months to see if I can restore fertility. At the same time, I don't think I'd still be alive right now if I'd waited until I could get sperm frozen before starting hrt. Not trying to push you in either direction, just sharing my perspective.

r/queerception might be helpful, it’s tbh mostly lesbian-ish couples talking about conceiving but some have transfemme partners and some transfemme people post there too, so using the search function might yield some helpful advice. like #2 said, there are a some mail-in services and there are a couple reviews on r/queerception, plus there might be someone in your area with more specific clinic experience.

idk what services your looking at but meetfellow which is a mail in fertility place is like 120 a year, plus like 100 for the initial tests iirc, that is not a small amount of money and i was lucky i happened upon it when my mom was not supportive. but if you need it, the gig economy (doordash etc.) is a good way to make small sums of money like that (though it will bite you with gas prices and car maintenance if you try it for the long term). good luck and much love.
