how important is it (as a trans fem) that I have a sharp chin? I also have bad height dysphoria so it’s hard to be hopeful about my transition in terms of getting my “ideal” body/self…

I know chin / jaw shape can be a major source of dysphoria, but try not to worry about it too much, cause any type of chin or jawline can look pretty & feminine. it mostly just depends on the overall dimensions of your face—basically, the way HRT influences your features means that the shape of your chin won’t interfere with your ability to pass or to be naturally beautiful

I don’t want to be tall and sharp it doesn’t fit me I hate it so much and I don’t know how to be productive with this desire so that it stops turning into pain

Not at all. Lots of AFAB women have strong jaws and are widely viewed as feminine, Jennifer Aniston being one of many examples. FFS or HRT can help soften features, but the shape of your chin won’t take away from your femininity. Your self-expression carries more weight than your physical characteristics

I can’t even tell if this is a gender dysphoria or a body dysmorphia thing anymore… my brain latches onto this because I DO mostly pass, but not in the way I want. I can’t express myself/my gender in the particular way that fits me best, and it hurts
