Should I be ashamed I have a libido while being trans. Idk it feels so weird that like I wanna have sex but it makes me feel gross.

why be ashamed of how you feel? like everything, it’s what you do with that feeling that matters. and there’s very little you could do to earn shame

No, you’re a human being and humans have sex drives. Completely natural no matter your gender

interacting with your sexuality—especially while transitioning—can be incredibly harrowing. you never know what you may discover about yourself, and that’s terrifying. remember that indulging in emotions is often an “out” to questions, even when—especially when—those emotions are negative. pain comforts when the alternative is uncertainty.

My concern more so comes from being trans fem and also nearly exclusively into women. Like I want to have sexual relationships with someone but I feel like a chaser or like a creep if I try to flirt and stuff.

oh 😭 yeah, it’s definitely hard when you worry about being misinterpreted, but that’s why communication matters, especially when talking with strangers. being genuine with what I think and want has always worked for me, since it attracts the right people

If it makes you feel any better, it’s extremely common for cis lesbians to also feel ashamed and gross for being attracted to other women. The fear of being too much like a man in how you view women is a unifying lesbian experience
