does anyone know how to start T or DIY HRT? i live in an extremely transphobic household whom both parents are unsupportive and have threatened to kick me out several times. insurance probs won’t cover anything. tips and tricks? pre-T. speed pls i need

not diy but if you have access to a planned parenthood they’re pretty affordable!

My experience with PP is $80 without insurance, completely covered by my insurance, for an intake appointment, where I was prescribed T. I was also prescribed bloodwork for my hemoglobin levels, which I’m not sure how much that cost flat out since it was covered by insurance, with like a $10 copay. A technically 3 month supply of T (really could be up to a year supply if you get multiple doses from a vial) cost around $100, and insurance didn’t make it any cheaper
