Been on it for years but I still am getting bleeding sometimes. My gynecologist said she has no clue why I am bleeding and my ultrasound was normal. Bloodwork is normal. I wanted to know if anyone else is dealing with this or knows what is going on?

All I know is that being on depo for years is DANGEROUS dangerous

it may be vaginal atrophy? i'm on nuvaring (in the US it's birth control so under the ACA it's free) for atrophy plus stopping my periods. i started getting pain on insertion and bleeding (not menstrual) about eight(?) months in, and now that i have a vaginal estrogen supply, i don't have to worry about it anymore.

I get menstrual bleeding randomly. It happens even if I dont do anything. They gave me vaginal estrogen but she said it could cause burning.

i mean, maybe? there's different kinds, including tablets, but it may be like, if it is from some sort of lesion, that would probably burn. but baseline i don't think it would?
