it saddens me that, even in queer spaces, I have to put up walls and not talk about some facets of my identity. I have to vet people before I can open up about parts of myself because so many queer people haven’t outgrown “can’t understand won’t respect”
my frustration for thi goes double for trans people. I expect the cishet to not always respect, but a trans person breaks my trust when they do the same.

wish I could cash out the emoji for a real hug because I just lost a friend after finding out she was transmed/truscum when I mentioned in passing that I was non-binary (she apparently assumed I was a trans woman). like I cannot do this
