i think it’s kinda like that in a way just based on being shoehorned into hobbies and sharing spaces with people based on birth sex. i’m mtf for context and basically only made girl friends in HS but i went to a religious college with single gender dorms and weird gender relations and since then my male roommates were my best friends and i made more guy friends bc it was pushed on me yk?
