yeah tbh really short hair seems to cause the same for a lot of transmascs. I think keeping it a little grown out is best

longer than a buzz, I went from having shaggy shorter hair to cutting the sides down and having some more curl to my bangs

AnonymousOP19h
do you have straight hair? they make this hair styling powder stuff i use a lot on mine and it makes my hair look much more masc

Anonymous#119h
I have wavy hair, I’m not sure if it’s styling that’s the problem or if my problem is just not passing. I’m pre-t, have a huge ass, and a high voice.

AnonymousOP17h
If you are pre-t your passing chances go way down, the hair might not be entirely the reason

I don’t understand your sarcasm? Being pre-t with a high voice means that people will assume you’re a girl even if that’s not a case

voice masculinization is a thing, I’ve seen people go from a high voice to one that sounds more masculine than a cis man. it’s addressable

Yes! Check voice training tutorials on YouTube, learn how different actions create different sounds, and practice daily while recording yourself to listen back to. It’s really rough at first, but it absolutely can be done with a lot of hard work
