I’m of a non-Abrahamic religion, but if you’re talking about Christianity then there’s a lot of queer/trans readings of the Bible that are super affirming. I recommend finding a trans theologian who speaks on their religion (I found an ftm one but don’t remember who, otherwise I’d share)
While no denomination fits perfectly with my views, theirs are overall what align the most. Just because there are bigoted Baptists doesn’t mean transphobia, Christian nationalism, etc. are inherent to in any way them/us. Baptists can be quite diverse, and each Baptist church is independent. My beliefs are based off of my views and my views only, not the views of others who happen to also call themselves Baptist. Also, in case you’re thinking of Southern Baptists — they’re different.
