Not really much you can say to help tbh. Everybody in the replies could suggest transition and they’d still need to be the one take the final step. It’s just a thing you gotta figure out for yourself.

I agree. I’d say just tell them that transitioning is an option but other than that idk what else you can even do. But for me part of what stopped me from realizing I was trans was just not knowing it even existed. So I tend to just let people know about that if they say stuff like this.

i second this!! i’d even add you can know about trans people and just not realize you’re allowed to be one. as a wildly ignorant high schooler with multiple trans friends, i somehow never even remotely considered that i could also transition. i would say stuff like OOP. i would have my friends do my makeup and hair. i was “one of the girls” in every group. just uhh.. forgot to think about it i guess. (politically harsh home conditions => deep repression)
