An old man recently approached me, grabbed my arm, and told me to smile more. It was one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever experienced in my life. It made me realize that I was starting to pass, which meant that I now have to deal with men ☹️

I’m writing about this moment because it was kind of bittersweet. On one hand, he viewed me as a woman (good). On the other, it meant that he took that as an opportunity to be creepy (not good).

Naw I wouldn’t have taken that I would have said a family member was just in a car wreck or something and it took everything for me to get out of bed. Make them feel like SHIT for telling you that. Teach them something too. Congrats on passing though.
