I feel like a lot of stemmed from TADC (which I love, don’t get me wrong) but the people arguing about Jax and her being trans opened up the doors apparently for everyone to have an opinion and then those opinions continued being said even without connecting them to the fandom and so it escaped containment (I could be totally wrong, correct me if I am)
