
Whenever you’re hookup I believe that you should tell ppl whether you're clean or not but if you're a post up trans person then it's none of their business whether you’re trans, because how would they know anyways. But overall it's safe to still tell because there's still a chance you could run across someone you hooked up with or they might just find out from someone else.
yeah, and many individual trans men/women don’t identify with the “tmasc/tfem” labels, either. masc/fem generally refers to presentation (even if it’s different for “tfem/tmasc”), so implying they transitioned to a more masc/fem identity while presenting the opposite makes them uncomfortable
hell, I know a non-binary person who doesn’t self-describe as “transmasc” since they don’t present masc at all and feels like it’s a misnomer for it. doesn’t matter if its identity “falls under” tmasc, they don’t *personally* identify that way, and as its friend ik the terms they prefer
