it feels disingenuous to call it a period, though we can experience similar mood swings and other symptoms associated with hormonal fluctuations
if you’re having them often, you may not have your levels in order and should consider talking to your endo

Well if I had a uterus I’d just be bleeding and then I could tell lmao

mtf people who experience periods can still get the extreme mood swings, bodily pains, and cramps though, so being able to track their cycle would be helpful for planning around that

So far I’ve just had the mood swings but it’s hard as hell to tell when that’s happening for certain yk?

If it’s like. The same hormonal cycles. I’m not sure why it’d be disingenuous. But I’ll keep an eye on them and see if it might just be cause my E is getting too low at the end of my injection cycle.

Dont worry, its not disingenuous. Cis women born without uteruses experience the same symptoms, it's definitely a period

A period is not just the blood, it is also the cramps and the mood swings and the swelling. If it was only the blood we would just call it. Blood time

sorry but I’m calling it a period because it’s the most accurate term. language is descriptive not prescriptive.

genuinely awful that I didn’t know those cramps were period symptoms 😭 I was trying to figure that out for a while
