my heart aches for all the trans people in kansas. i cannot believe this is the position we're in now. who knows if my state will be next to do the same?

I saw that a study was done and found that at least 400,000 trans people have moved to a different state to be safer. So sad that so many of us feel needlessly unsafe

north carolina was a holdout state with abortion. i was hoping we'd stay that way. we've only gotten worse, and we didn't start off good, including before the abortion restrictions. i'm putting it off and putting it off, but i have family in new jersey and i think i need to go live with them. i don't think there's a future for me here now.

bunch of crazy laws, especially regarding their licenses no longer being considered valid if they have the right gender marker

License part especially concerning while they try to pass the SAVE act, which would require voters to have a valid ID to vote
