No I don’t think so, my husband still girlmodes and he passes pretty well, well enough that a random ass biker dude blocked him from entering the women’s bathroom once

Depends on if you have to be on T to girlmode? I’m pre-T but openly trans in most cases, but pretend to be a girl at work and around my family, and calling it girlmoding feels best bc I’m not exactly closeted (and somehow it makes me feel better about my shitty situation)

wait if i may ask why does he still girlmode if he passes well? would that not cause more dysphoria and more societal trans related problems? i’m asking cuz i just kinda wanna know what may happen for me in my future (ive been on low dose T for like 2-3 months)

He doesn’t think he passes and says I’m biased because I’ve known him so long, even if I can get him to believe he physically passes, he’ll argue that his voice gives him away which I also disagree with because it’s dropped quite a bit since he started T, it’s mostly him being anxious

i’m kinda in the opposite situation. only a few people (other trans people and my doctor) know im trans but i’m on hrt, but i haven’t been on it too long. idk man i just hate people seeing me as trans or knowing.

i was in the same situation. it broke something inside me that i'm rebuilding a little now. i don't know if it was the right decision. it felt safer then.
