Does anyone have experience with permanent rib damage from binding? I binding lately has been a lot more painful and my binder is sized up so it shouldn’t be causing discomfort?

how long are you binding for? you can always take a break using less tight binding devices

It starts hurting around the 2 hour mark. It depends on the day. I usually don’t bind bc I was unemployed and not going out but now I have a job I’m binding for around 8 hours which is why I sized up but it’s still hurting after only wearing for a few hours and hurts for the rest of the day once I take it off

But my old gc2b one hurt too, which is why I switched to a sized up spectrum

honestly looking back those where also really tight so was gc2b though. you could always size up and tomboy x also makes really good chest compressors that bind lightly but are less tight. with a loose shirt itll hide it usually
