i used to DREAD cleaning the men's bathroom when working at a gas station. the worst day cleaning the women's bathroom isn't comparable to the average day cleaning the men's bathroom

I’m transfem and I can’t wait to pass purely so I can avoid the men’s restroom entirely. I’ve seen some fucking war crimes in there. AND A LOT OF THE MEN JUST DONT WASH THEIR HANDS TOO?!?!? LIKE WHAT ARE WE DOING, THATS GROSS

I really thought women were bad, but now I know when someone’s been taking a shit and not washing their hands because there’s almost no other reason to be a cis man in a stall when there are urinals. And at least women aren’t touching their bits directly everytime they pee. And speaking of urinals… the SMELL holy fuck 😭

In the few times I’ve been passing enough to go to the women’s restroom it’s always been such a breath of fresh air. Like it smells overall less bad, and I don’t have to live with the knowledge that they’re wiping their ass and then leaving without washing their hands. It’s the small things that add up

I definitely miss it sometimes, but then I remember I’d scare the hell out of any woman in a women’s bathroom and I feel a little better about it 😅 I just hope for a family bathroom wherever I’m at
