i know bottom surgery is less common for trans men/transmascs, but it’s crazy how i literally feel like an alien trying to talk about bottom dysphoria at all with other people let alone actual surgical plans

I wish more people realized there are more options than just phallo! I'm personally planning to get part of my labia removed so my dick like.. stands out more if that makes sense

I definitely relate. I have bad bottom dysphoria and will be getting phallo when I’m able. I used to date another trans guy and was surprised at how much he just did not get it. There are so many people who just don’t seem to understand. It’s fine if your dysphoria in that area isn’t as bad, but as trans people, shouldn’t you be able to have somewhat of a grasp on how bottom dysphoria works?

Transmasc here and tbh I probably will not get bottom surgery (at least until way in the future) but I did research different methods and the pros and cons because I like being informed

I'm getting my first step towards bottom surgery (hysterectomy) done soon and I'll be doing more once I have the money 🙏🙏

For me its not close enough to a cis penis for it to be worth it, for some people it totally is, I’m just not a fan of any of the methods yet

yep great. thank you. such a helpful comment. it definitely does not contribute at all to me feeling like an alien to be told that phallo is “not close enough to a cis penis.” 👍

I know you didn’t mean any malice, but some people don’t get to choose not to have surgery. Please think of the impact your comment may have on others’ dysphoria. It’s fine to feel this way, by all means don’t get surgery if you don’t want it, but there’s a time and a place.

thank you for getting it. i know i’ve been snarky but damn. it sucks to make a vent post and get hit with the same comments/disconnect i’m complaining about.
