How do I find a good haircut for my face shape? I feel like whatever I do I end up looking butch instead of ftm. I’m not on T yet. All the suggestions I’ve gotten have been to use AI and I would rather eat rocks than use AI.

Pinterest is a start! You can turn off the AI photos in the settings thank CHRIST. It probs won’t get all of em but I haven’t noticed any since I did that. Second is to try and find a queer or alternative specific place. I went to one of those and I am pretty happy with how it turned out (I’m the opposite kinda trans but still).

i had to just keep getting haircuts and be like no i don't like that no i don't like that and narrow down what specifically i didn't like until i would get to what i did

Did you talk with your hairstylist about what you wanted too and ask for them to make it specifically more femme? I just moved out of Utah but living there during majority of my social transition made it really scary to talk to hairstylists because I worry they’d fuck my shit up

I did! I was open about being a trans woman and made sure to tell him that I specifically wanted it to make me look more feminine. Going to a very queer friendly place made me comfortable enough to do that cause I knew they would probably listen and he did :3 He gave me basically exactly what I asked for. Though I wasn’t super specific so I had to trust him on some of it but the outcome is basically what I wanted just refined past the basic details I could pinpoint.

Living in Utah is understandable for why you feel like that though. I get uncomfortable sometimes being open about my identity even living in a progressive area.
