I’d say it’s pretty important, unless you completely trust your surgeon and overall results don’t matter much as long as your chest is flat. Some people want completely flat chests and some want a more masculine contour. I was told to upload photos that showed the maximum chest fullness I wanted for my own results relative to my body shape

it helped me to see fat guys who looked like me who had top surgery. it helped me decide where i wanted my nipples and that even though i'm fat i wanted to go as flat as possible for my chest
