So I recently got pregnant (not planned but my husband and I are excited) but I also found out that pregnant trans men are called “seahorse dads” and I think that’s so cute and funny

Aw, congrats and good luck man! Just out of genuine curiosity, since I’m not that knowledgeable, how does transition affect pregnancy or vice versa? Is it safe to be on T while pregnant?

So, it is not safe for me to be on T while pregnant. I’m not sure how being on T affects getting pregnant, I mean I was on T when I got pregnant. However, after finding out and going to the OBGYN and my PCP they both advised me to stop taking T while pregnant.

Being on T while pregnant can cause birth defects or miscarriage
