finally was able to talk to someone after four days of phone tag with a surgeon's office just to find out the wait list for a consultation is 4 years chat i might not make it

i called around. it's really frustrating, especially since i had to be like hey i am fat i have a bmi of above 35 if your surgeon won't do surgery on me please tell me.

You’ll make it. You can do it you are so so strong. You’ve gotten this far, don’t let any wall stop you. You deserve this surgery you deserve the euphoria. The blocks they have in place suck, and the system is stacked against us. We have to keep pushing, look into other options if there are any, ask about cancellation lists. I believe you will make it and finally see what we’ve known was there all along❤️

if you can save up a couple thousand it’s usually a much quicker turnaround, better results, and cheaper to go to another country. I’ve seen some dolls go to ID hospital in korea and they do good work. not sure which surgery you want tho

with a four year waitlist i would guess this is probably bottom surgery, so there are fewer providers and those providers may perform different techniques and/or have different outcomes (and also fairly long waitlists).

i've called another hospital and they'll get back to me in a few days, i have a few more i want to call but i don't have much hope
