I hate when people say something that might be transphobic but they have enough plausible deniability that you can’t tell if they’re just using poor language or intentionally trying to disguise a transphobic message.

it shows up a LOT when you bring up cluster B personality disorders 💀 mostly because the publicly-available information on them uses outdated & harmful language (according to the trained professional I’ve talked to about it)

no one’s immune to propaganda, so it’s understandable—I’ve always had friends with narcissistic personality disorder, and they’ve been some of my closest, so the language around them has always seemed ick to me. and cluster B is just a subcategory of cPTSD, yet treatment rarely happens early because diagnostic criteria is mostly relevant only AFTER something bad happens. basically treated like dangerous criminals by the medical system that fails them istg
