Definitely there are some trans men who are willing to join terf groups to be their token trans person. They tend to be more welcome because, in addition to being transphobic, TERFs are also misogynistic and that’s why they attack trans women a ton

Trans men are, wait for it, men. People really shouldn’t be that shocked when trans men end up being misogynistic pieces of shit. The reason why so much anti-trans discourse focuses on trans women is because it’s an inherently misogynistic belief system. And trans men, being men, can easily fall into that pipeline.
