Y’all my hemoglobin is 17.9 and I can’t donate blood to lower it bc I’m hiv+ I’m scared they’ll make me lower my T dose 😭

the male reference interval on my bloodwork is 14 - 17, so OP is def above that (or at least in the top end of the range).

They didn’t check but my dose isn’t even that high it’s like .3 and I’ve been on it like 6 years but I’m down to .25 now

I looked it up and apparently it could be possible for you to get a prescription for “therapeutic phlebotomy” which is where they just take the blood out for medical reasons, not for donation.
