i’m nb transfem and describe myself as gay both ways lol. don’t identity as man or woman, but i like them in gay ways if that makes sense

Yes that’s exactly how I feel! I’m transmasc and feel gay w both guys and girls or just queer in general. If I get w a guy it’s very much not hetero and being afab it’s the same w girls

this is part of why I’m bigender. still working on feeling accepted in gay male spaces though. I live in a super progressive area and pass as a man more often than not, but there’s still unquestionably a limited range of “acceptable” ways to be transmasc in cis-dominated gay spaces

i suppose some NBs could, but for the most part transfemmes get a lot more scrutiny and have to overcompensate to the point that there’s no doubt they might be a woman whereas trans dudes are generally accepted presenting in either way like shown here

Talking to other trans people I can be like “oh yeah I’m a transfem masc lesbian who is a girl but also not a girl” whereas for cis people I just gotta be like “I’m a she/they trans girl”
