the “trans women in sports” thing is such a red herring. it’s just another way of saying they see transition as a choice: no other “advantage” is restricted unless it’s a VOLUNTARY advantage.

they want to be so fucking cruel to the middle schooler who wants to play with her friends too. like aside from the nonexistent problem of adult sports it's just like. let the kids play sports.

and it’s such an overt generalization 💀 like yeah, let’s tell the beginner 5’4 trans woman she can’t play badminton with the girls because she has a “competitive advantage” over the veteran 6’ cis women… it’s demeaning to all women involved, which is telling of the misogyny involved in assuming it’s an “advantage” that must be restricted 💀

“Biological advantage” the drinks I have to ask my trans masculine friends to open for me cause I’m too weak to get the cap off would like to have a word. I literally test if I’m doing it just to affirm myself by going all out with my strength and I STILL can’t do it😭
