I'm still leftist by nature, that won't change, but its infuriating seeing libs take the moral high ground on these matters when they prove to me time and time again that their support is performative and for their own benefit more than mine

“She does better work than yall so keep your opinions to yourself doing trade school” versus “could you please not use the women’s restroom.” Doing admin work at an office who were soooo progressive. And want to be clear I’m socialist till I die but it’s so demoralizing when the ppl you think should be on your side won’t actually stand up for you
