i typically date trans ally bi/pan men for this reason, they see me as a guy, feel comfortable calling me their boyfriend, but also don’t care that i look like a girl. but it is very limiting in who i can date

As someone who took this approach, it’s VERY case-by-case. Unfortunately the bi men I’ve dated very quickly went back to dating cis women after I was their “first” boyfriend.
