Was about to comment this 😭im in the same boat (gay trans dude) and have had bad experiences, it feels like it’s either gay men who are disappointed im not cis, or suspicious “bi but only dates women and trans guys” which is the fucking worst. Better alone than miserable tho

Thankfully I have yet to encounter those types, instead all I’ve gotten are the emotionally unavailable cis guys who say I’m “too much” simply because I’m excited to be making any progress at all towards a relationship. I don’t get why no one gets excited anymore. That or they’re just very disinterested in me after realizing I yap a lot

Also this tends to not happen if I talk to other trans people, I think it’s generally just an odd disconnect happening in the way we’ve been socialized I think
