We were joking about how nothing would change if I were a stereotypical vampire and he said “yeah, you do have the same weaknesses… sunlight, metal, and your real names.” I know he didn’t mean anything harmful but… I haven’t responded in two days now.😞

It is an ick. I know he didn’t mean anything malicious by it because we were watching K-Pop Demon Hunters and Hunter: The Parenting and on that topic and we usually make jokes about where our identities sit. But… blah. It hit me harder than it normally might.
