I always feel dramatic when I correct people or get upset about being misgendered. I can only be called “girl” and “sis” so many times before going insane.

i totally get it my friend, but you are not being dramatic. it is the bare minimum of basic human decency to refer to someone in ways they prefer. i’m sending you love and support from a friendly t-boy 🩵

Im fine with feminine nicknames being used gender neutrally, ie go piss girl, hi sisters (mocking james charles), etc. It’s the uwu soft bean shit aimed at trans men that I can’t stand. Call me dude, guy, man — great. Anything with the word “boy” — no, I’m 20. Anything with the word little/lil — no, I’m 5’10”. i fucking hate the infantilization of trans men way more than I hate casual phrases that have traditionally feminine names/words that are entirely non-personal to me.

My spouse was at the emergency vet with our dog and repeatedly said “my husband is on his way” when I got there they turned to me and said “mom, we need a signature” while I do respect pet parents using the mom/dad labels, I think the vet calling a person a parent is a bit odd without hearing the person refer to themselves that way, but also it was stated several times that I am a guy 🫩 Also while my partner and I do call ourselves our dog’s dads, our dog knows our names, not “dad”

I get that some trans guys like it, and that’s totally fine they can absolutely use it for themselves, but for me personally I cannot stand being called a “t boy”

No fr that one makes me want to throw hands the most. I am a grown man, like would you refer to any man above the age of 18 as a boy outside of phrases like “frat boy”? No? Then don’t fucking call me that
