So valid but tbh the most cohesive sentence I said was “shy kitty is a dumb name for a chicken” which is what my mom had just named a chicken. I had a lot to hide at the time and that’s what I chose. You got this!

if you don’t get put all the way under, you won’t get too zonked out to out yrself. for me, they gave me light sedation and local anesthetic. i didn’t feel a THING except some pressure, but i was awake the whole time. i definitely wasn’t all there in the head, but i wasn’t laughing gas levels of out of it. i was still aware of myself and everything around me

i also had this fear and i didn't i just cried a little (they said that was normal) and then slept

PLUS getting put to sleep is more expensive than staying awake. injecting the anesthetic stung like hell but that’s the only part that hurt. my father even tried to record me saying something funny, but bc i wasn’t knocked out during the procedure, i wasn’t loopy enough to say anything crazy

DO NOT LAUGH it hurts so bad. also make vegan sausage balls they're amazing and i say that bc a month or so (it's fuzzy) after i had the surgery i thought i was healed enough to eat them at my cousin's baby's party and then my grandmommy smacked my cheeks (in a sweet way, we're southern) and then i ate the sausage balls bc they're always so good and i never get to eat them otherwise but i started bleeding. so be careful and take food slow

you definitely should have been healed after a month. curious you started bleeding. was it like, little bit leaking blood or full on gushing. bc like, after a month ur good to eat practically anything as long as you rinse your mouth out twice a day
