Nobody warns you that the worst part of T injections is the bandaids. Every week, I have to rip a bandaid off of my extremely hairy thighs and experience the pain of one million suns exploding.

if you get fabric bandaids you can use vaseline or any kind of oil and rub it in the same way you do for binding tape, itll help break down the adhesive so it doesnt tear off

I don’t use them at all anymore. Get the tiny round ones and/or cheap ones, and not the regular size fabric ones that stick super well.

Honestly just waiting until they fall off on their own majorly mitigates this. I usually just wait until they fall off (which does mean that I’ve had a bandaid on my thigh the majority of the past six months but still it doesn’t hurt most of the time then cause it just gets loose from the shower)

Wait we are supposed to be using bandaids? I’ve on T for like 9 years and almost 5 of those have been in a relationship with a doctor who does my t shots for me and even he doesn’t put a bandaid on it.

I think some providers rec them, especially for beginners, to catch any bleeding and protect clothes. ::shrug:: seemed wasteful after a while personally, and why I stopped.

Even small injection holes can get injected if left exposed. Better safe than sorry 🤷‍♂️ plus I don’t like getting little blood stains on my clothing
