totally fine to be nervous, and also, i can almost guarantee it'll be okay. they generally like to get an idea of your levels at the lowest point of the week if you're on weekly injections, so that's right before your shot. i imagine if you're on pills or patches, you're more steady. 10 days is perfectly fine and still workable for testing your blood.
