every time i’m tempted to try a dating app i get scared that i’m gonna be laughed at for being gay and non-passing :(

Yeah, there are a few other reasons I haven’t tried dating in general, but one of them is I’m a pre transition trans guy and I worry no one will see me as a man and that the only people who will be attracted to me will be those who, deep down, are attracted to me because they think I’m a woman

hey man, I’ve dated pre-T trans guys who felt the same way. if someone really cared about you, they’ll affirm you in the way you need, especially if you’re open about that concern. you can be loved as a man, as yourself 🫶

me too. i have dated some really wonderful people in the past though, and they’ve given me hope that i can be seen and loved as a man
