being a gender studies major is great most of the time because people in class are pretty cool about trans people. what sucks is their attitudes towards men & those attracted to men :/ like i'm not suddenly evil cuz i got he/him pronouns and like dudes.

yeah it’s annoying bc no one who’s a guy chooses to be one, yes that means you’re in a place of privilege but dismissing someone off-hand based on gender is the exact opposite of what we’re trying to do 😭 like do we not know abt gender essentialism
