Minus the earrings this is very similar to what I look like and I have multiple relatives on one side of my family that are named Marshall … can’t say how much I look like a Marshall but I do bear the most resemblance to that side of the family haha

nah dude i think they'll just need an adjustment period. it'll be weird randomly changing what you call someone for the first bit, but they can get used to it. if YOU end up later deciding it doesn't fit you, you can change it

That’s true, I’m just freaking out a bit over this whole thing, esp since I have transphobic parents and js got out of a relationship with a guy who shut the idea of me transitioning down so fast, so this all feels like a lot

it's okay to take it slow! transition, while aweomse and freeing and i highly recommend it, can be very daunting and overwhelming. it's okay to be slow telling people, be slow with what you tell them, and to sit with yourself first before anything and process stuff
