I see people on this app trying to pull that same shit somewhat regularly and it makes me uneasy because I can never really tell at this distance whether they’re even genuinely looking for support re: coming out and/or transitioning themselves, or if they’re just trying to like, take advantage of transfeminine solidarity as a path towards getting a woman alone to coerce her into a sexual situation (or possibly both)

nah, it’s just smth I’ve tested myself & seen every time someone says “on this *pp,” and I’ve seen other people say similar things. YY doesn’t even have an easily-accessible disclosure on how SideChat merged with it, and SideChat has no verification methods but connects to the same app 😭

Egg's gateway to discovering their transfemininity is often through "crossdressing". Shutting these people out by assuming theyre cis chasers would cause a lot of false positives, especially of ones who dont yet know the right terminology
