I need to remind myself this every time I confuse dysphoria from being treated like a girl for toxic masculinity lmao. No I’m not toxic for being upset that someone thought I was too weak to do something bc I look like a girl, I’m just dysphoric, and cis men are way way worse. Also people shouldnt underestimate women’s strength either

i mean yeah the misandry in the lgbtq+ community goes too far and hurts trans men, but most cis men (and cis people in general tbh) i meet have such internalized beliefs on gender that they can't comprehend the simplest things about trans and gnc people. i'm never treated the same as other men in my friend group, and i get grouped in with nonbinary people because people refuse to see me as a man. unpack your ideas on gender roles bud, thats what the post is about

a "minority" so vocal that they make up most of the winning anti-trans party in the usa, and even those cis men affiliated with no party or the losing party are often anti-trans.

Yeah I’m not going to deny that there aren’t good cis people, because there are. But holy shit coming into a trans community and being all “wow this agression towards cis people has got to cool down” like buddy WHY DO YOU THINK TRANS PEOPLE MAY BE A LITTLE DEFENSIVE AROUND CIS PEOPLE
