really appreciate how planned parenthood asks about sexual partners where they ask whether they have a penis, vagina, or both. my ex was a man, no matter what his sex parts were, and it's a way less invalidating way to ask
Honestly I love this method. Same for that photo that gets shown sometimes where it’s a check list of what sex characteristics you have rather than just male and female. Cause the vast majority of those of us on hrt or who are intersex got a mixed list.

the things i'd want to be careful of with that, although in general it sounds awesome, is that with hysterectomies it's decently common for people to not know what they all got removed. so for that i'd want some way on the form/in the visit to address that.

yeah bc it's straight up the only way to ask that will hit all the points they need to cover re: sexual health screening. like what types of std testing you need (swabs, etc) and whether or not contraceptive info is relevant and what types
