Because hrt reduces your fertility or makes you completely infertile, it’s considered medical and not elective. Talk to your health insurance, you could get it done for much cheaper

I didn’t bother cause I wanted the estrogen right away. Also I’ve heard some not so amazing things about the fertility industry. But they did offer. I just haven’t wanted kids since I WAS one and it was just expected.

It’s less of that and more of “I’m going to be starting a medical treatment that will damage my fertility and need to freeze my sperm, what is the coverage for that?”
