How am I supposed to explain to cis people that I feel more dysphoric in a bra and/or t shirt than I do completely topless

OH I KNOW THIS!!! Because when you're topless the chest is there but it's not gendered, but a bra genders you cause it's often made to accentuate that and a lot of clothing is made to give a certain body shape and if it fits in a different way than it should it also shows you how you don't fit the gendered norm

For me I think it’s because being topless is seen as a “man” thing to do, so even though I got mah titties out I feel very masculine. Because I’m walking around with no shirt in my boxers like some hapless sitcom dad.

I feel like bodies are neutral in a way that clothing isn’t

Yes this makes sense! But how do I explain how wearing just a t shirt, no bra makes me dysphoric… maybe bc I expect a t shirt to lay flat on my chest? If that makes sense?

for me it was feeling the shirt against my nipples and the whole skin of my chest whereas shirtless there would only be air
