Okay this may be an unpopular opinion but I feel like people are starting to use the word “chaser” wrong. Chasers aren’t people who date you and try and get you to detransition. They date you BECAUSE you’re trans cuz they fetishize/objectify us 😭

Someone gets it! Someone once was like “erm, I’m trans and I’M a chaser. We exist” and I’m like no honey you’re not, that’s not how that works 😭

i feel like also ppl are too quick to say that preferences/turn ons are fetishes? like specifically with chasers, js cuz someone prefers trans ppl, doesn't necessarily mean they're a chaser. it feels like as a community we've lost the art of nuance and context

I mean for the record chasers don’t just have a turn on for trans people, it’s that they really done have interest in us as people and are just obsessed with “trying a trans” and ultimately don’t see us as our gender either
