As a white woman with a southern accent voice training is very scary knowing every other person I know with a southern accent is not white and there is a very real chance I accidentally pick up something very not acceptable for white people

in my experience as a life-long resident of rural northeast texas, there's not much difference between how white n black ppl talk, just whether the air passes more through your nostrils or your throat, and even that isn't consistent. you should be fine, you're probably overthinking it
