People I know either took a semester off, are doing it over J term/winter break, or are doing it over the summer. As for budget probably just asking parents for help if that’s an option or trying to find a way to get insurance to cover it😭

tbh i just had to miss class. my mom's a teacher on a year round schedule (where you get smaller breaks throughout the year rather than one big summer one) so she was only available soon when i was in school, and i was desperate to get it done, so i just told my professors beforehand and did as much as i could in advance. budget im on a payment plan. i've heard if you go to certain hospitals and let students work on you (supervised) it's way cheaper but i did not do that.
